On Site Stand Check Ups

With the constant need for regular maintenance and secondary projects for process improvement, let HKA take care of leak testing concerns by performing a full audit of your equipment.  Barring a major issue it usually takes less than an hour and any minor issues are corrected and documented immediately.

  • The leak test brain is checked to confirm no internal leaks and that it interacts with the control system as expected
  • The test and reference delivery circuits are checked to confirm they are leak free
  • All test fixtures’ integrity are confirmed including all seals on each
  • Calibrated orifices are verified and NIST traceable certificates issued as requested
  • The calibration of the leak tester for a given fixture and part is verified
  • If required, the leak tester is calibrated
  • The pressure calibration of the leak tester is verified and calibrated if required
  • A summary of all equipment as found and left is provided within a week of the visit

Most times the stands are functioning satisfactorily and minor leaks are found and fixed.  On occasion a major issue has been identified and next steps are discussed with the customer.

ARI Showcase

HKA was excited to speak as part of a panel at the first annual Applied Research & Innovation Showcase presented by Seneca College.  Jay Hilliard from HKA spoke about his experience working with Seneca’s team.  Chris Tyler, project lead and industrial research chair, and Michael Huang, research assistant, also discussed their unique points of view on the collaboration.
